Were Back...and in Amazing 3-D!

As you can see, the 3 day holiday was an excellent oppourtunity to revitalize the campaign once more.

The first meeting will happen this Sunday afternoon, barring any unforseen circumstances. Sessions will be scedhualed as bi-weekly, or as we see fit. The goal is to allow more flexibality for members to play when and how often they want, and to keep the time we do spend at the table action packed and fun for everyone.

To that end, we will be using some card stock 3D terrain. Spent Sunday and Monday purchasing materials, finding the right ink for the printer, and learning how to create reliable pieces. These are the very first bits put together on 110 lb cardstock. The strange colors (yellows, pinks, etc) are due to buying a package of crappy generic color ink from Office Depot.

The other half printed out just fine, and if I had a better camera, you could see some of the really rich texture work going on.

The files come from www.stones-edges.com which gave a variety of designs for $10. I was waffling between them or www.worldworks.com and thier "chunky dungeons" pack which a lot more bits and bobs, but only one architecual theme and a texture which I found to be a little on the gaudy side. Still, it may be worthwhile to pick up a copy of that as well, just for the furniture and pit trap tiles :P Posted by Picasa
